Avec environ 12\u00a0tonnes d\u2019ordures m\u00e9nag\u00e8res g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es chaque jour, la ville d\u00e9pend actuellement d\u2019une entreprise priv\u00e9e pour g\u00e9rer ses d\u00e9chets, qui sont tri\u00e9s \u00e0 la main avant d\u2019\u00eatre enfouis dans la d\u00e9charge de Srar.\u00a0La ville entend n\u00e9anmoins changer les choses en impliquant ses citoyens dans le tri \u00e0 la source de sorte \u00e0 mettre de c\u00f4t\u00e9 les mati\u00e8res recyclables et \u00e0 les vendre \u00e0 des entreprises int\u00e9ress\u00e9es afin de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des revenus. Cela permettra de couvrir les co\u00fbts li\u00e9s \u00e0 la gestion des d\u00e9chets tout en r\u00e9duisant la quantit\u00e9 de d\u00e9chets envoy\u00e9s \u00e0 la d\u00e9charge et en sensibilisant la population au tri et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9limination des d\u00e9chets solides.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Le programme de mentorat Med4Waste, coordonn\u00e9 par <a href=\"https:\/\/medcities.org\/fr\/\"><strong>MedCit\u00e9s<\/strong><\/a>, l\u2019un des partenaires espagnols du projet, fournira \u00e0 la ville le soutien et les ressources n\u00e9cessaires pour atteindre certains de ces objectifs. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce programme, la ville b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiera d\u2019orientations et de conseils sur les solutions de gestion des d\u00e9chets adapt\u00e9es \u00e0 ses besoins sp\u00e9cifiques. Par ailleurs, <a href=\"https:\/\/businessmed-umce.org\/\"><strong>BusinessMed<\/strong><\/a>, partenaire tunisien du projet Med4Waste, accompagnera deux PME ou start-up locales pour d\u00e9velopper des solutions innovantes qui permettront \u00e0 la ville d\u2019atteindre ses objectifs en mati\u00e8re de gestion des d\u00e9chets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En participant au programme de mentorat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enicbcmed.eu\/fr\/projects\/med4waste\"><strong>Med4Waste<\/strong><\/a>, Akkar Al-Atika fait un pas important vers un avenir plus respectueux de l\u2019environnement.
