Il est temps de mettre un terme \u00e0 ce type de discrimination.<br \/>\nSelon l\u2019Organisation internationale du travail (OIT), dans le monde, les femmes sont pay\u00e9es en moyenne 20\u00a0% de moins que les hommes. Bien que des facteurs individuels tels que l\u2019\u00e9ducation, le temps de travail, la s\u00e9gr\u00e9gation professionnelle, les comp\u00e9tences et l\u2019exp\u00e9rience expliquent en partie l\u2019\u00e9cart de r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration entre les femmes et les hommes, l\u2019OIT affirme qu\u2019il est d\u00fb dans une large mesure \u00e0 une discrimination fond\u00e9e sur le sexe.\u00a0L\u2019\u00e9cart global entre les revenus d\u00e9coule \u00e0 la fois de la diff\u00e9rence moyenne de salaire par travailleur et de la disparit\u00e9 des taux d\u2019emploi entre femmes et hommes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Un nouvel indicateur mis au point par l\u2019OIT r\u00e9v\u00e8le que peu de progr\u00e8s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s au cours des deux derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies concernant l\u2019acc\u00e8s des femmes \u00e0 l\u2019emploi, leurs conditions de travail et leur \u00e9cart de salaire par rapport aux hommes.\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Cette situation ne peut plus durer.\u00a0L\u2019\u00e9cart de salaire entre les sexes constitue \u00e9galement une forme de violence envers les femmes\u00a0\u00bb, d\u00e9clare Lilian\u00a0Halls-French, copr\u00e9sidente de l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.efi-ife.org\/fr\/\"><strong>IFE<\/strong><\/a> (Initiative F\u00e9ministe EuroMed).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les faits parlent d\u2019eux-m\u00eames\u00a0:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Les emplois moins bien r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s et moins qualifi\u00e9s sont majoritairement occup\u00e9s par des femmes.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Les femmes gagnent 51\u00a0cents l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les hommes gagnent un dollar.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Les femmes sont sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es aux postes de d\u00e9cision.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Les femmes accomplissent au moins 2,5\u00a0fois plus de travail non r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9 que les hommes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ces faits mettent en lumi\u00e8re l\u2019ampleur des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sur le march\u00e9 du travail et soulignent l\u2019importance d\u2019accro\u00eetre la participation g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des femmes au monde du travail.
