A delegation of seven members of the European Parliament joined the EU Election Observation Mission to Jordan 2024.
On 8 September, the delegation of Parliament members visited Independent Election Commission and held meetings with representatives of Jordanian observers (Rased) and media representatives.
On election day, the members of the European Parliament will observe the voting and counting in different locations of Jordan, together with Chief Observer Željana Zovko and more than 110 EU observers.
The delegation is headed by Andreas Schieder, member of the European Parliament from Austria. The other members are Antonio López-Istúriz (Spain), Lucia Annunziata (Italy), Nathalie Loiseau (France), Pascale Piera (France), Michele Picaro (Italy), Vladimir Prebilič(Slovenia)
