United Arab Emirates Algeria : EU contributes to better professional integration of people with disabilities

In the framework of the EU-funded Support Programme Youth Employment (PAJE), 120 visually impaired from the province of Oran will benefit from a training in various trades, in view of a better professional integration.
PAJE programme is the result of a co-financing convention signed between Algeria and the European Union in December 2012 for a budget of €26 million (€23.5 million for the European part and €2.5 million for the Algerian part). Its main objective is to support the action and reforms of the Algerian government in terms of national policies for youth.
