“Untangled”, is a theatre performance under the EU-funded project ‘Increase Women Participation in Public Life’ that aims at empowering women through creating a safe university environment, free from violence against women and girls.
The show builds on real stories of young women and men from Egypt with their gender-specific challenges and aspirations. The sketches are the product of intense workshops with the actors and actresses over a period of 9 months.
The EU-funded project seeks to raise the awareness of 280.000 students and 12.000 staff members of the Cairo University by the end of 2021.
