United Arab Emirates Jordan: EBRD-supported project ‘Alchemist Lab’ explains science to children

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has presented on its website a recent report on one of its success stories. The report deals with support provided by the bank to the innovative project Alchemist Lab in Jordan’s capital, Amman.
“The idea is simple: we want to help build a better future through education”, explained project founder and managing partner Hadeel Anabtawi El-Taher. “It can help children understand the world and, most importantly, how to solve problems by themselves”.
Anabtawi El-Taher started a mobile lab, based on this idea, nine years ago, with “infectious enthusiasm” which “became a hit with children”.
