Funded traineeships for young graduates at the EU Delegation to Morocco

Are you a recent graduate interested in international relations? Are you curious to learn more about working in a diplomatic mission and how a Delegation represents the interests and values ​​of the European Union in Morocco?

We offer: Internships of up to 6 months in 2026, within the following sections of the EU Delegation to Morocco, subject to budget availability. The provisional start date is April 2026.

Internship in the Political, Press and Information (PPI) Section:

Main tasks:

  • Contribute to political reporting on foreign and domestic policy issues in Morocco, as well as on sectoral topics;
  • Monitor current events and contribute to political analysis;
  • Contribute to the implementation of European policy in Morocco in all its dimensions;
  • Prepare briefings and meeting minutes;
  • Contribute to the preparation and follow-up of technical exchanges and visits by European officials to Morocco;
  • Participate in meetings with representatives of civil society, journalists, academics, and seminars;
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of meetings with European Union Member States.

Internship in the Communication and Culture (COM) Section:

Main tasks:

  • Support the communication unit of the EU delegation.
  • Assist in drafting press releases, speeches, and statements for the Delegation, and contribute to media relations to ensure coverage of its news and activities.
  • Participate in creating content for the Delegation’s social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Contribute to the Delegation’s public diplomacy activities. Contribute to the analysis and evaluation of the Delegation’s cultural diplomacy initiatives.
  • Prepare briefings, organize and participate in certain events and meetings within and outside the Delegation, and draft meeting minutes.
  • Contribute to coordination with Member States in the areas of communication and culture. Contribute to the activities of the EU Jeel Connectors network.
  • Contribute to the management of the Delegation’s website.
