United Arab Emirates Syria: Mogherini in Rome to take part in the ministerial meeting to counter Da’esh

According to the EU diplomatic services, this week “the EU will concentrate its efforts to solve the crisis in Syria and Iraq and the fight against Da’esh”. Today, the High Representative/Vice President of European Commission, Mrs. Federica Mogherini was in Rome to take part in the third ministerial meeting of the Small Group of the Global Coalition to counter Da’esh.
The EU is a full coalition partner and is contributing to the Coalition’s actions by non-military activities.
On occasion of the inter-Syrians talks in Geneva, she commended the presence of delegations of the opposition and of the government in order to begin the next stage of the political process.
On Thursday, Mrs. Mogherini will be in London for the Syria Donors’ Conference.
