Yemen Egypt: EU supports a family planning campaign

In December 2018, the Ministry of Health and Population’s Family Planning Sector, in partnership with the United Nation Population Fund (UNFPA), and with the support of the European Union in Egypt, launched a family planning campaign in six governorates around Egypt dubbed “Your Right to Plan.”
The campaign offered free family planning and reproductive health services, including free medication through fixed and mobile clinics, public and central hospitals, and maternal and child health centers.
The campaigned reached over 280,000 women and over 230,000 contraceptives were dispensed.
