Yemen Human rights: EU launches call for proposals in Lebanon

The EU Delegation to Lebanon is seeking proposals for activities to support civil society initiatives that promote respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, justice and the rule of law. The initiatives will receive financial assistance from the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR).
The specific objective of this call for proposals is to support actions that seek to:
- prevent and take effective measures against torture and ill-treatment;
- enhance and improve access to quality legal aid services.
A total of 1.2 million euros is available under the call. The deadline for submission of Concept Notes is Friday 24 March 2017.
An information session on this Call for Proposals will be held on Friday 24 February at 12 a.m. at the EU Delegation in Beirut.
