Yemen Anna Lindh Foundation presents youth policy to UfM Parliamentary Assembly

The Executive Director of the Anna Lindh Foundation, Ambassador Hatem Atallah, presented the Anna Lindh Foundation’s renewed policy on “investment in youth” to the UfM Parliamentary Assembly’s (PA-UfM) Committee on Improving Quality Of Life, Exchanges between Civil Societies and Culture, held in Rome earlier this month.
The policy on youth was backed by the 42 UfM Member States at last month’s Board of Governors meeting in Luxembourg. It is centred on scaling-up opportunities for youth dialogue skills development, social enterprise and intercultural exchange opportunities, including the expansion of the flagship debate programme “Young Arab Voices” which is co-managed with the British Council.
The Anna Lindh Foundation for Inter-Cultural Dialogue promotes knowledge, mutual respect and inter-cultural dialogue between the people of the Euro-Mediterranean region, working through a network of more than 3,000 civil society organisations in 43 countries.
