As part of the EU funded regional programme Combating Violence against Women in the Southern Mediterranean Region (2019-2021), the EuroMed Feminist Initiative developed a manual for Teachers on Gender Sensitive Education.
This handbook offers ways to integrate the gender dimension of education in the classroom and provides a toolkit featuring women role models from past to present.
In Jordan, the Ministry of Education adopted the manual to build teachers’ capacities on gender equality topics and promote women’s human rights through education
