March 15, 2023, marked 12 years since the beginning of the conflict in Syria. Violence persists across the country, and there has been little progress towards a sustainable resolution of the conflict. The recent earthquake exacerbated the suffering of the Syrian people, when humanitarian needs were already at their highest, since the crisis began.
