I am Georges, a visionary leader and founder of the Volunteering Marathon, dedicated to transforming lives through volunteerism. My program inspires thousands of young people in Lebanon and beyond, fostering civic engagement and driving positive change.
With 42 volunteering missions in 42 consecutive days, the Volunteering Marathon brings diverse communities together. I have a vision to expand this initiative worldwide, following successful expansions to Corsica, France, Tunisia, and Mexico.
My own experiences, including volunteering after the Beirut Explosion, have shaped my belief that volunteering is a way of life, not just a pastime. Through workshops, conferences, and media appearances, I strive to inspire others to embrace volunteerism and become changemakers.
