Yemen Advancing the ReTour Innovation Hub Platform through the ReTour Brain
As part of the ongoing development of the ReTour Brain, the intelligent core of the ReTour Innovation Hub Platform, the development teams from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) and SPECTO held a productive technical meeting on 27 July 2026 to review progress and coordinate the next stages of implementation of specific AI Agents.
The ReTour Brain is being developed by the ReTour consortium to provide AI-driven, explainable, and context-aware decision support for tourism stakeholders across the Mediterranean, helping SMEs strengthen their resilience, improve competitiveness, and accelerate digital innovation. This collaborative effort represents another important milestone towards delivering an intelligent, practical, and sustainable digital ecosystem for the Mediterranean tourism sector.
The meeting confirmed the successful completion and integration of several key development phases, including:
- Architecture & Environment
- Foundation (LLM + Data)
- First Working Agent
- Knowledge-Augmented Agent (RAG)
- Context-Aware & Explainable Agent
The team also discussed the implementation roadmap for the remaining phases, which will further enhance the platform’s intelligence and practical value for tourism SMEs. These include:
- SME Personalization & Package Builder
- System Integration
- Quality Assurance (QA) & Pilot Validation
- Forum Preparation & Deployment
