Yemen Call for proposals to support civil society organisations and local authorities in Algeria

The European Commission has launched a call for proposals in Algeria under the thematic programme “Civil society organisations and local authorities”. The reference of the call is: EuropeAid/150492/DD/ACT/DZ. The overall indicative amount made available under this call is €3.7 million.
The overall objective of the call for proposals is to support civil society organisations (CSOs) and Local Authorities (LA) in Algeria for the period 2015-2017.
The specific objectives are:
1. To support to CSOs
a) as governance actors;
b) as partners in the promotion of social development;
c) to promote a territorial approach to local development.
2. To support LAs
a) as actors of local governance and local participatory democracy;
b) as stakeholders for promoting inclusive and sustainable growth;
c) to develop a territorial approach to local development.
