A delegation of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee (AFET), led by its President, David Mc Allister, made a working visit to Algeria from July 18 to 20.
The parliamentarians had discussions with members of the government as well as representatives of both houses of parliament.
The delegation was received by the Prime Minister, Mr. Ahmed Ouyahia, as well as by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Abdelkader Messahel, and the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Spatial Planning, Mr. Noureddine Bedoui.
