Yemen EU addresses human rights issues in Palestine

The EU together with the representative offices of Switzerland and Norway organised a discussion with Israeli and Palestinian Human Rights Defenders in Al Hakawati theatre last week in East Jerusalem. The debate focused on the challenges and opportunities to defend human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory.
The event was held in honour of the 70th anniversary of the Universal declaration of Human Rights as well as the 20th anniversary of the UN declaration on Human Rights Defenders.
