United Arab Emirates EU and UNRWA provide backpacks and school supplies to Palestinian refugees

The EU and UNRWA “Back to School” campaign provided some 10,000 first graders across the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan and Lebanon in EU sponsored schools with backpacks and school supplies, equipping students with the tools they need to succeed.
Since 1971, the European Union has played a vital role in safeguarding access to quality education for Palestine refugees as a leading contributor to the UNRWA education programme.
