Yemen Euro Ciné-Voix: A New Cultural Projection in Hammam-Lif
The European Union Delegation to Tunisia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, is organising the second screening of our Euro Ciné-Voix series. Come to the Ali Ben Ayed cultural complex in Hammam-Lif on Saturday 16 November 2024 from 3:00 pm to discover a masterpiece of animation and emotion: Nuno Beato’s “My Grandfather’s Demons”.
About the film:
“My Grandfather’s Demons” immerses us in a tender and poignant story in which animation blends reality and fantasy with finesse. This film is a unique and visually captivating exploration of memories, inter-generational ties and family mysteries.
Debate:
The screening will be followed by a debate mediated by two exceptional guests:
Salma Baccar: A renowned Tunisian film maker and committed politician, defender of women’s rights and director of films that have marked the history of the Tunisian cinema.
Nidhal Chemingui: Cultural press officer, editor-in-chief of the magazine No’o Cultures and teacher of sociology, specialist in cultural policies and media in Tunisia.
