The European Union in Jordan believes in the critical importance of encouraging community radio stations in the country to further increase their freedom, independence and professionalism.
This is why the efforts of the local radio station Farah Al Nas in Amman in tackling political, social and developmental issues related to youth and women were celebrated through a ceremony which was held in the presence of European Union, UNESCO and Jordanian officials.
During the event, the radio station received an equipment donation including new microphones, a digital mixer and a transmitter.
