Yemen Jordan : Commission adopts equivalence decision for EU Digital COVID Certificate
The European Commission has adopted new equivalence decisions certifying that COVID-19 certificates issued by Jordan are equivalent to the EU Digital COVID Certificate.
As a result, Jordan will be connected to the EU’s system. The EU will accept their COVID certificates under the same conditions as the EU Digital COVID Certificate. This means that holders of certificates issued Jordan, will be able to use them under the same conditions as holders of an EU Digital COVID Certificate do.
At the same time, Jordan agreed to accept the EU Digital COVID Certificate for arriving EU nationals.
Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders said: “As from today, the list of countries and territories connected to the EU Digital COVID Certificate system raises to 62. The EU Digital COVID Certificate is key to travelling safely these days and more and more people profit from it”.
