Yemen Jordan: EU-funded Qudra programme promotes art projects to reduce tension between communities

Recycling, graffiti, story-telling, painting and sculptors; all to provide children spaces to explore their creativity and talents while complementing their academic education. Participants and artists from Jordan and Syria visited Prince Mohammad Public Boy School in Zarqa, Jordan, to use art against bullying and vandalism at school together with a mixed group of Jordanian and Syrian boys.
With a special objective to train 6 Jordanian and 2 Syrian artists in leading art projects with children, “Visiting Artist Programme” offers an ideal opportunity to reduce tension and create more harmony at schools with multinational students and two-shift systems.
This activity is implemented under the EU-funded Qudra Programme.
