The Jordanian edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) started yesterday and will be held until 22 November. Hosted by Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship with support from the EU-funded JADE Project, Global Entrepreneurship Week is a world-wide movement that celebrates and promotes entrepreneurship in more than 125 countries.
Activities range from enterprise competitions to talks from local role models, workshops, classroom lectures to large scale conferences. GEW Jordan initiatives will be held in Zarqa’, Mafraq, Tafileh, Madaba, Jarash, Karak, Ajloun, Amman, Aqaba, Irbid and Ma’an.
Since 2008, GEW host organizations in over 100 countries, along with hundreds of partners, have held thousands of events which have inspired millions of people to embrace innovation, imagination, creativity and entrepreneurship. GEW brings entrepreneurs and business leaders together to provide young people with the necessary support, education and inspiration each year.
