Yemen Lebanon: The EU behind a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Litani River Authority and the Economic & Social Fund for Development

In the framework of the new EU programme “Local development programme along the Litani River Basin”, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was recently signed by the Litani River Authority (LRA) and Economic Social Fund for Development – ESFD.
Through this programme, the EU will support the LRA to play its role in coordinating the governance sector. This MOU was signed by the President of the LRA, Mr Sami Al Awieh and the General Director of ESFD, Mr Haitham Omar. The EU Delegation has attended the event, as observer, with Mr Gianandrea Villa.
