The European Union and Lebanon are sharing expertise through TAIEX on good manufacturing and good hygiene practices to help improve the food safety system.
“We hope to see extended collaboration and complementarity so that, with EU support, Lebanese products can become competitive and relevant for international markets” said EU representative Jose Luis Vinuesa.
