Yemen Libya: EU calls for ceasefire

On 24 April, The Delegation of the European Union to Libya hosted in Tunis two meetings of EU Member States Ambassadors with delegations from the House of Representatives led respectively by 1st VP Nuweiri and Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Aghouri, to try to find common ground between Libyan stakeholders.
The EU side insisted that there is no military solution and urged all parties to agree on a ceasefire and return to the political process in order to address all outstanding issues and bring an end to the transition in Libya.
