United Arab Emirates MEDJICARP participates in Interreg NEXTMED Launch Event in Lebanon
The National Council for Scientific Research in Lebanon, partner in the MEDJICARP project (PP06), participated, with a team of representatives from the National Center for Marine Sciences, in the official launch event of Interreg NEXT MED projects in Lebanon, held in Beirut on 10–11 February 2026.
The event brought together key stakeholders, project partners, and institutional representatives highlighting the strategic importance of fostering cross-border collaboration to address shared regional challenges, environmental sustainability, economic development, and social inclusion.
Across the span of two days, the event dedicated training sessions to equip project partners with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage the various aspects of project implementation, including financial management, reporting, communication, and coordination.
Through their participation, the CNRS-L is reinforcing its understanding of procedures and enhancing its capacity to deliver impactful and well-coordinated results across the Mediterranean region.
