United Arab Emirates MEDREG in Gastech 2023
This year again, MEDREG participated in Gastech, a landmark event in the energy industry, which is the world’s largest meeting place for natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, low-carbon solutions, and climate technologies.
Gastech 2023 took take place in Singapore from 5 – 8 September and looked ahead to the future amidst an industry-wide transformation to drive progress to net zero. Industry thought leaders and innovators gauged the outlook for the entire energy value chain during an unparalleled industry experience, over a four-day period.
MEDREG President Abdellatif Bardach and President of the Moroccan Electricity Regulation Authority (ANRE) spoke in a Strategic Conference titled “Accelerating the development of carbon-neutral LNG”. He was joined by Mr. Karem Mahmoud, Chairman of MEDREG’s GAS WG and Executive Chairman of GASREG (Egypt) and Mr. Hasan Ozkoc, MEDREG Secretariat Director, in a roundtable.
Gastech 2023 welcomed over 300 Ministers, CEOs, and global business leaders, in addition to 4,000 delegates, 750 exhibitors, and 40,000 attendees from over 100 countries.
