The European Investment Bank (EIB) and “Société Nationale des Autoroutes du Maroc” (ADM), responsible for building, operating and maintaining Morocco’s highways announced the conclusion of an 85 million euro financing contract to accelerate the digitisation of highway transport infrastructure in the country.
This project will help improve traffic flow through the digitization of payment systems and the installation of toll-free systems. It will help reduce travel costs and time and enhance user safety while offering new customizable services. This operation also includes the deployment of a traffic monitoring and management system that will give real-time access to traffic conditions throughout the highway network.
