Yemen Palestine: EU reiterates concern over the fate of prisoners

The EU has expressed its “ongoing concern about the extensive use by Israel of administrative detention without formal charges being brought”, the EU missions in Jerusalem and Ramallah said in a statement to local media.
“The EU calls for the full respect of international obligations regarding the human rights of all prisoners. Detainees have the right to be informed about the charges behind any detention, must be granted access to legal assistance, and receive a fair trial”, the statement stresses.
