United Arab Emirates ReTour advances Innovation Hub development to support tourism MSMEs in Jordan
Project managers of the ReTour project at the Jordan University of Science and Technology and Specto met at the 25th of March with the leadership of the Amman Chamber of Commerce and discussed the road map to implement the project in Jordan. The ReTour Project team presented the project to the Amman Chamber of Commerce, highlighting opportunities for collaboration with the Jordan University of Science and Technology and Specto. The meeting focused on supporting tourism MSMEs across the Mediterranean to become more resilient. The team introduced the research study, which examines risk factors, digital maturity, and resilience needs. Findings will inform the development of an Innovation Hub, pilot programs, and training initiatives across partner countries. The study will involve interviews, focus groups, and surveys targeting 30–40 MSMEs from sectors such as hospitality, travel, transport, food, wellness, retail, and tourism activities.
