The EU Heads of Mission conducted a visit to Salfit in the occupied West Bank. They had an exchange with the Governor of Salfit, Mr. Mustafa Taqatqa, and other Palestinian officials on the challenges amid the worsening political, security, and economic conditions. They visited factories and observed the impact of nearby Israeli settlement activities, including environmental degradation and the fragmentation of Palestinian communities. Concluding their visit, the delegation met with private sector representatives and PADICO team in Rawabi. The EU is committed to supporting Palestinian development, preserving cultural heritage, and addressing the challenges posed by the ongoing Israeli occupation.
