AgorALF 2026 will take place on 1-2 December in Brussels, Belgium, bringing together 300 participants and key partners committed to intercultural dialogue.
The encounter builds on ALForum 2025, which brought together 800+ participants through 105 parallel and cultural sessions and 29 networking and artistic activities. It created a space for civil society, young leaders, artists, institutions and networks to exchange ideas, connect and shape the future of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation. Building on this momentum and the strong demand expressed, ALF is introducing AgorALF as a more focused gathering that continues to foster dialogue, people-to-people connections and cultural exchange across the region.
AgorALF 2026 will also contribute to the implementation of the Pact for the Mediterranean through a bottom-up approach to its People pillar. In doing so, it will place people-to-people connections and culture at the heart of Euro-Mediterranean relations, with a particular focus on mobility and youth.
This call aims to bring together engaged intercultural dialogue professionals and other key actors from across the 43 Euro-Mediterranean countries who can meaningfully contribute to the AgorALF’s discussions, interactive spaces, and cultural moments to complement the diverse agenda.
The ALF Secretariat together with key institutional partners and active civil society actors has developed a rich and well-balanced agenda for AgorALF 2026. It brings together strong knowledge contributions, practical methodologies, and real case studies, complemented by interactive formats and inclusive cultural performances that reflect the depth and diversity of Euro-Mediterranean expertise and cooperation.
Due to the limited financial resources available, and in line with the Anna Lindh Foundation’s belief in shared responsibility, ALF approaches this call with a principle of co-responsibility, ensuring that the available support reaches those who need it most while encouraging broader engagement.
We therefore kindly ask applicants to consider what costs they or their organisations can realistically cover before requesting any financial support. This collaborative approach allows to extend the opportunity to a more diverse and inclusive range of participants across the region.
Important Note: Given the limited time available before AgorALF 2026 and our aim to facilitate the participation of as many people as possible, priority will be given to applicants requesting lower levels of financial assistance.
Applicants must share the Anna Lindh Foundation’s mission, actively contributing to driving the positive change needed in our Euro-Mediterranean region and respect the principles outlined in ALF’s Common Shared Values.
