On 24 May, the first #MediaConnect Lebanon 🇱🇧 took place in Beirut. Organised by the Maharat Foundation, the event featured expert Sobhiya Najjar and focused on “Young Today, Poor Tomorrow? Exploring Social Protection for Youth in Lebanon.”
Discussions highlighted 🇪🇺️ EU support for Lebanon’s social protection system, including aid for the extremely poor, minority groups, and youth opportunities.
The session facilitated meaningful dialogues and showcased the EU’s on-the-ground efforts, fostering collaboration and understanding among attendees.
