In 2020, OCHA’s Country-based Pooled Funds (CBPFs) were instrumental in supporting the pandemic response efforts in the 18 countries where they were present, allocating a total of US$909 million million to operational partners to address top priority needs.
The European Commission’s Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO) contributed for the first time to CBPFs
