From promoting the private sector and supporting Ukraine to empowering the green transition, boosting human capital, closing digital divides and deepening financial ecosystems, our work is enabling mutually reinforcing systemic changes that are creating long-term benefits for millions of people. This first edition of the report explores our impact not just in 2024 but the cumulative effect of our work over the years. Following a record-breaking year, with annual investment rising by 25 per cent to €16.6 billion, it delivers a first assessment and provides a starting point to further improve our impact – and the way we report it – in the years ahead.
