The purpose of this work is to conduct a preliminary and partial situational assessment of the social and economic inclusion of persons with disabilities in the Euro-Mediterranean (Euro-Med) region. The assessment will identify the status of social and economic inclusion of persons with disabilities, the obstacles to full and meaningful inclusion in society, and the opportunities available for achieving the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD, or CRPD).
