In Lebanon, UNDP partnered with “Madaniyat” to develop a national survey on “Women in Politics: Delving into Women Empowerment, Perceptions and Attitudes”.
The survey, developed with the financial assistance of the European Union and the USAID, aims to explore the prevailing perceptions and attitudes toward the role of Lebanese women and their participation in politics and media.
The findings of the study will allow a better identification of the challenges that should be addressed, in order to decrease the gender inequality gap, especially in politics.
