2023 marked a significant milestone for the Union for the Mediterranean – its 15th anniversary. Established in Paris in 2008, the UfM brings together the European Union and countries on the Southern and Eastern shores of the Mediterranean. Its mission: to revitalize regional cooperation and unlock the potential for a more integrated and cohesive Mediterranean.
