United Arab Emirates CBC Italy-Tunisia programme presents results at closing conference

The EU-funded Italy-Tunisia Cross Border Cooperation programme is holding its closing conference today in Tunis, gathering representatives of the European Commission, national and regional representatives of projects funded under the programme, as well as public and private partners involved in the programme.
The aim of the event is to present the most significant results achieved by the programme, under which 31 projects were funded with a budget of EUR 25.2 million.
Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) reinforces cooperation between regions of EU Member States and Partner Countries on EU’s external borders. EU financing for the Italy-Tunisia CBC programme is of €25.1 million for the period 2007-2013. (EU Neighbourhood Info)
