Yemen Egypt: Launch of the Migration Hub
At the launch of the Migration Hub in the American University in Cairo (AUC), Ambassador Christian Berger, Head of the European Union Delegation to Egypt said “The EU is committed to working with Egypt as a key partner in dealing with migration, security and humanitarian challenges, affecting both Europe and Northern Africa.”
This new Hub is an open, inclusive, multidisciplinary partnership that draws on government, donors, experts, practitioners and civil society to create and synthesize knowledge for the use by policy makers, generating a menu of policy choices, based on analytical evidence, evaluation of policies, data collection, and quality control.
“Looking forward to a strong cooperation with the MFA, AUC and other Egyptian institutions and universities.”, added Amb. Berger.
