Eight Lebanese youth organizations representing different regions across Lebanon launched today the implementation phase of YOUTHMED cross-border cooperation and national-level training activities in Lebanon. The meeting marked the beginning of the operational coordination phase for upcoming youth training programmes, mentoring activities, awareness actions, and youth participation in cross-border exchanges and regional cooperation activities across the Mediterranean. YOUTHMED is building a cooperation network involving 25 organizations from 4 Mediterranean countries to strengthen youth participation, cross-border cooperation, and inclusive youth engagement. YOUTHMED – Empowering YOUTH for an Inclusive MEDiterranean – is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg NEXT MED Programme.
