The PNT Heritage Award is an annual award launched by the National Heritage Trust (PNT) in 2024, inspired by the vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Dana Firas, President of PNT and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Cultural Heritage. The Award is organized in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to Jordan, in partnership with Jordan Kuwait Bank, with the support of Royal Jordanian & Explore Jordan, and H.E. Samir Abdelhadi, in recognition of excellence in the conservation of cultural heritage and in highlighting its value.
The Award highlights best practices in the conservation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, raising awareness of its importance, and encouraging excellence and innovation in the heritage field. It also celebrates the achievements of individuals, institutions, civil society organizations, researchers, and community-based initiatives working in this field.
All applications are subject to an independent evaluation process conducted by a Technical Committee and a Jury comprising distinguished local and regional experts, based on a set of core criteria.
Building on the success of the Award in 2024, 2025, and 2026, the PNT Heritage Award will expand in 2027 to include Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia.
