The Anna Lindh Foundation launches the call for participation for self-financed applicants to the Anna Lindh MedForum 2020, which will take place in Šibenik, Croatia, from 2 to 5 April 2020.

The targeted participation in the MedForum2020 will include:

  • Civil society leaders from all 42 countries of the UfM will be selected through a regional call for participation run across the 42 UfM countries in association with the National Networks of the Anna Lindh Foundation. The evaluation process will include selection criteria related to the capacity of CSOs for trans-Mediterranean partnership-building and program development, to ensure the action-oriented nature of the Forum.
  • Leading Euro-Med institutional figures will be invited to be present for the opening and closing sessions, including the EU High-Representative for Foreign Affairs, Secretary-General of the Arab League, EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood, President of the European Parliament, the UfM Secretary- General. The Mayors of Barcelona and Marseille, representing the former host cities of the Anna Lindh Forums, will also be invited.
  • Representatives of regional institutions and programs developing action in the framework of the EU Neighborhood Policy and in relation to the intercultural dialogue agenda for the Mediterranean, among them the EU- financed MENA cultural cooperation programs, UNESCO, UN Alliance of Civilizations, Club de Madrid, OIC, ALECSO.
