The general objective of this call for proposals is to promote active monitoring of public economic policies and a pluralistic and inclusive debate around reform issues to support the country in its quest for sustainable development and contribute to increasing the accountability of public actors.
The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:
- Specific objective 1 (lot 1): Contribute to strengthening an inclusive environment conducive to freedom of expression, access to information and media independence in Tunisia;
- Specific objective 2 (lot 2): Strengthen the capacity of the media and journalists in Tunisia to provide and put into perspective verified, relevant and quality information that contributes to enriching public debate on socio-economic issues;
- Specific objective 3 (lot 1 and 2): Encourage citizens to engage in constructive debate in order to increase pressure for greater accountability of public actors.
